Our Potatoes



We use different varieties of potatoes depending on the time of year. From May to July we use Premier that are supplied for us by Tom Fisher whose farm is based in Grays, Essex. Tom also supplies us with the Aphrodite we use from July until September which is when we then move onto using Maris Piper potatoes.

 

As we use over 1440 tonnes of potatoes in this period which equates to 3 million portions of chips we use a variety of specially selected farmers to ensure that we can consistently source the best possible potato we can.

 

All of our potatoes are prepared on site because we believe this gives our customers the freshest product possible.
